A Call to Serve. A Chance to Restore.
This summer, we're rallying together as a church family to serve a couple whose home was devastated during the 2024 hurricane season. Thanks to Connect Global’s initial efforts last year as well as the families continued work this year, the initial tear-out and much of the prep work has been completed. Now, it’s time to rebuild — and we need your help to finish the job.
On Saturday, July 19, we invite you to volunteer for Serve Day as we take part in a hands-on mission of compassion and restoration.
Together in collaboration with Connect Global Disaster Relief Team we want to be the hands and feet of aid and recovery to those in our surrounding area.
Will you join us?
What we will be working on
We’ll be tackling construction and remodel projects including:
🛠️ Replacing front and back doors (possible framing involved)
🪟 Repairing the bay window
🚪 Installing interior doors
🧱 Securing support beams
🧼 Installing baseboards + quarter round around tubs
💡 Replacing ceiling fans, fixtures, and kitchen lighting
🛏️ Hanging drywall in the master bathroom closet
🔥 Installing smoke detectors
🧺 Building a pantry and a wall for the laundry room
🧰 Constructing a master bathroom closet
There will be opportunities for skilled and general labor volunteers alike.
No construction experience needed — just a willing heart and hands ready to help.
